Astroscale Ltd., the UK and European subsidiary of Astroscale Holdings Inc. the market leader in satellite servicing and long-term orbital sustainability, announces Andrew Faiola as Commercial Director, effective immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based in the UK, Faiola is responsible for leading Astroscale Ltd.\u2019s commercial sales, business development and marketing activities as the company aims towards making in-orbit servicing, including debris removal, routine by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faiola joins Astroscale Ltd. with more than 20 years\u2019 experience in commercial sales and market development roles with a focus on delivering connectivity and access to information to remote locations on land, air and sea. Prior to joining Astroscale Ltd., he held leadership positions at a number of the most recognisable companies across the satellite communications ecosystem, including ALL.SPACE Ltd., ST Engineering iDirect, Newtec, Intelsat, SES (formerly NewSkies Satellites), and Esatel Communications. Earlier in his career he performed research and project development work at the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS), the Embassy of Mexico in Washington, DC, and at NASA, which involved the provision of internet service and remote sensing for environmental monitoring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Faiola holds a bachelor\u2019s in economics from Washington University in St. Louis, and a master\u2019s in international affairs from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. He is also a distinguished alumnus of Space Camp.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
